Product Description

FLuc mRNA (N(1)-Me-Pseudo UTP) is a firefly luciferase encoded mRNA sequence with modified UTP, which can express luciferase protein in cells after transfection. The protein was originally extracted from the firefly (Photinus pyralis). Luciferase can catalyze the oxidation of luciferin to produce oxyluciferin, emitting yellow-green bioluminescence (wavelength of 550-570 nm), and the light intensity directly reflects the expression level of luciferase.

Cas9 mRNA (N(1)-Me-Pseudo UTP) allows for the expression of a Streptococcus pyogenes SF370 Cas9 protein (CRISPR-associated protein 9), which is part of the CRISPR genome editing system, when transfected into cells. In the CRISPR system, when co-transfected with guide RNA (gRNA) targeting specific genomic loci, the Cas9 protein can cleave the targeted genes under the guidance of the gRNA.

mCherry mRNA (N(1)-Me-Pseudo UTP) is an mRNA molecule that allows for the expression of the red fluorescent protein mCherry when transfected into cells. mCherry is derived from the red fluorescent protein DsRed, which was originally isolated from the sea anemone (Discosoma). It is a monomeric fluorophore with a maximum absorption wavelength at 587 nm and a maximum emission wavelength at 610 nm. mCherry exhibits excellent photostability and is widely used for molecular labeling and cellular component localization in biological research.
